#28: John Entwistle Didn’t Stop Making Music
John Entwistle kept playing. He didn’t chase the spotlight the way some bassists might have. He liked the background, the stability of it. But when he stepped out to make solo records, they showed a surprisingly dark sense of humor and a love of strange details.

He toured with his band, played club shows, and stayed deeply connected to music. Offstage, he collected antique guns and built elaborate rooms in his home filled with rare gear. He was quiet, but his life was full of noise in its way. He never really stopped being The Ox.
