We Had No Idea These Celebrities Had Adopted Children

Rent and The Mandalorian star Rosario Dawson was adopted by her own father, so she always hoped to adopt. Her family knew a girl’s birth mother, and when they learned the child was in foster care, they found her. Dawson adopted Isabella at age 11.

Isabella is now in her early twenties. For years, the public wrongly called her Lola, and Dawson only corrected it once her daughter asked. Dawson has also said Isabella maintains a relationship with her biological family, including her birth mother.
