#12: Barbara Walters
Trailblazing television journalist Barbara Walters interviewed presidents and celebrities, but becoming a mother took patience. After three miscarriages, she and husband Lee Guber adopted baby Jacqueline in 1968. Known as Jackie, their daughter brought joy, although Barbara later acknowledged struggling to balance parenting with work.

Jackie faced a difficult teenage period and later helped other young people through a wilderness program. Today, she keeps her life private, with little confirmed about her current work. Barbara spoke openly about their challenges and said she wanted to be remembered as a mother.
