Olympic figure skating champion Scott Hamilton was adopted as a baby himself. He and wife Tracie already had sons Aidan and Maxx when Aidan encouraged them to adopt Jean Paul from a Haitian orphanage. In 2014, they brought home Jean Paul, 13, and his sister Evelyne, 11.
