#7: A Beach Cave Is Packed With Phallic Offerings
At the edge of Phra Nang Beach in Krabi sits a shrine that can catch first-time visitors completely off guard. Inside the seaside cave are piles of carved wooden phalluses, ranging from small offerings to much larger pieces, clustered around the sacred space.

The carvings are left as offerings connected with fertility, good fortune, and the spirit associated with the cave. Despite the unusual sight, this is not meant as a joke or tourist stunt. It is a spiritual place where an ancient symbol of fertility has become impossible to miss.
