#21: The Universal Gift-Wrapping Journey
This comic lovingly documents the annual ritual of discovering—yet again—that wrapping paper is our natural enemy. It begins with optimism: scissors, paper, a neatly boxed gift, and the confidence of someone who has clearly forgotten last year’s trauma. By step two, everything still seems possible.

Then reality strikes. The paper bunches, the tape disappears, and the box looks like it survived re-entry from space. So step three is simply “give up,” which feels spiritually accurate. Step four, of course, is the hero’s solution: a bag… the true savior of holiday procrastinators everywhere.
